Golf Cart Geeks Shipping & Processing Policy (Updated)
Shipping & Processing Timeline
We are committed to shipping your order using the fastest, safest and most reliable method available. All orders require a minimum processing time of 72 hours so our team can properly package your items, verify product compatibility and complete necessary documentation. Once your order has been processed and shipped, we will send you an email with a tracking number so you can monitor your shipment.
Shipping Methods and Rates
Shipping charges are calculated based on the size and weight of your order. Orders weighing less than 150 lbs are shipped via parcel carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS or DHL. Orders weighing 150 lbs or more ship via freight carrier. White‑glove delivery services may be available for an additional fee—please contact us for a quote. Shipping charges for your order will be displayed at checkout.
Small Items (Non‑Battery)
Smaller items that do not contain batteries are generally shipped via parcel carriers. Depending on availability and your location, these shipments may take up to two weeks to arrive. Tracking information will be provided when your order leaves the warehouse.
LTL Freight Shipping Rules
- Remote locations and specialized routes: LTL freight shipments follow routes that differ from common carriers. For remote locations where standard shipping routes are not available, additional charges may apply. Our shipping team will notify you of any additional costs before shipping.
- Delivery timeframe: LTL shipments can take up to four weeks to reach your location. While many deliveries arrive sooner, please allow the full four‑week window to account for weather, road closures or other delays.
- Cancellations: Once a LTL order has shipped it cannot be cancelled. If you request a cancellation after the pallet has left our warehouse, all shipping charges incurred (including return freight) are the customer’s responsibility.
- Agreement to terms: Placing a LTL order with Golf Cart Geeks indicates your acceptance of these terms and your responsibility for any costs associated with cancellation or return.
LTL Freight / Curbside Delivery
- Delivery and tracking: Products shipped via LTL freight are trackable. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.
- Offloading responsibilities: For standard curbside deliveries, you are responsible for offloading the shipment from the truck and moving it to your desired location. If you need inside delivery or special handling, please arrange this service with the carrier.
- Inspection: Please inspect your shipment for damage before signing the delivery receipt. If the shipment is damaged, reject the delivery. Once a shipment is accepted, we are unable to process returns or replacements for LTL items.
Shipping Outside the Continental United States
Due to the cost of shipping large products, we currently ship only within the 48 contiguous United States. Customers requesting shipping outside this area are responsible for all additional shipping charges and should contact our support team for a quote.
Order Changes and Cancellations
For LTL freight shipments, cancellations are not possible once the order has shipped. For non‑freight shipments, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify or cancel your order. Changes may not be possible once an order enters the processing phase.
